Responsibilities Reviewing medical records for completeness and accuracy and referring incomplete or inaccurate reports to appropriate staff for correction. Preparing statistical, case, and other types of reports. Preparing materials and forms and gathering all pertinent information and data for admissions and discharges. Ensuring all data is properly coded. Compensation Annual Salary is $34,500, or $16.59/hour Working Hours Primary Working Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt. Application period Application period: 10/01/2026 - 10/07/2026 Special Requirements Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver's license. Qualifications Eligibility for accreditation with the American Health Information Management Association as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT); or two years of experience working with patient records in a medical setting such as a hospital, state institution, medical clinic or a physician’s office. Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Preplacement Testing Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result. Coverage and Hours THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
