Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Route Driver in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle as part of this driving post, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff with exceptional customer service. You will document activities using computer or tablet tools while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership, property personnel, and emergency responders as needed. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
