Health Information TechnicianWe are seeking a detail-oriented Health Information Technician to support administrative and medical records operations within a healthcare setting. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, processing health information, and supporting clinical and administrative teams with documentation and data management tasks. This is a long-term assignment.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in medical terminology, records management, or related field preferredPrior strong administrative experience required (must be recent, preferably in a medical office setting)Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience with scanning, faxing, emailing, and electronic health record systems preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy with sensitive informationKnowledge of medical terminology and health information practices is a plusStrong organizational and communication skillsClinical roles such as Medical Assistant or STNA will not be considered
